Trying to keep up

I'm discovering more every day how quickly you can come to feel "stupid" or "behind" because you don't understand technologies that others are using with seeming ease. Well I will not submit! I will become savvy enough to at least understand what the talk is about - I guess I'm still sceptical about whether the time spent will be rewarding - I have had some brief flirtations with facebook which haven't overwhelmed me with revelations!
